Spider Club
Our children's Spider Club activities are all about getting youngsters involved with nature.
Please note that this is a members only club. Due to it's popularity and the need to keep the group size manageable, there is usually a waiting list. If you are interested in adding your child to the waiting list please contact the warden.
Activities
The Spider Club events are once a month throughout the year on Saturday mornings.
The activities are varied, for example, planting, creating new habitats, surveys, and various nature related art and craft projects.
Spider Club Pond
This small pond (well bath actually) was put in by our Spider club this pool was planted up with plants from the ponds on site. If you look carefully you will see pond snails, ramshorn snails and if you are lucky you may see toads and newts swimming amongst the submerged vegetation.
